Skull & Bones
1 1/2 oz 151 proof Demerara rum (Golden Devil Dark Navy Strength)
3/4 oz aged column still rum (Cana Brava Reserva Aneja)
3/4 oz fresh lime juice
1/2 oz passion fruit syrup
1/2 oz grenadine
6 drops Pernod*
1 dash Angostura bitters*
* or 1 dash Herbstura, equal parts Pernod and Angostura combined in a dasher bottle
8 oz crushed ice
Combine everything in a mixing cup, adding ice last. Mix in a spindle blender for 5 seconds. Pour unstrained into a skull mug or a double old-fashioned glass. Add ice to fill. Garnish as the inspiration takes you. If you can’t find Golden Devil Dark Navy Strength, substitute Plantation O.F.T.D..
