5 Minutes of Rum episode 20: 2 Kōloa rums and 2 cocktails
Trader Vic Daiquiri
2 oz white rum (Koloa White Hawaiian Rum)
1 oz white grapefruit juice (fresh squeezed if at all possible)
1/2 oz fresh squeezed lime juice
1/2 oz simple syrup
1/2 oz maraschino liqueur (1/4 oz with Kōloa)
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Shake with ice cubes and strain into a chilled cocktail class.
3/4 oz fresh lime juice
1/2 oz homemade grenadine/pomegranate syrup
1 oz gold Jamaican rum (sub Kōloa Gold Hawaiian rum)
Shake all ingredients with ice cubes in a cocktail shaker. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
