Trader Tom's Wayward Rum Barrel
1 oz Panama-Pacific 9 year
1 oz Appleton 12
1 oz Hamilton 151
1/2 oz pimento (allspice) liqueur
3/4 oz passion fruit syrup
3/4 oz honey syrup
1 oz fresh orange juice
2 oz fresh lime juice
3 shakes Angostura bitters*
3 shakes Letherbee Charred Oak Absinthe*
* sub 3 dashes of Herbstura
Build this drink with 12 oz crushed ice in a mixing tin and then flash blend for 5 seconds in a spindle blender. Pour into a barrel mug and add more crushed ice to fill.
Black Sand, Blue Sea (Kelly)
2 oz Cruzan Coconut rum
3/4 oz blue curaçao liqueur
1 oz Coco Real
1 1/4 oz fresh lime juice
Flash blend with crushed ice. Pour into a hurricane glass and then float:
5 dashes pimento (allspice) liqueur
1/3 oz Cruzan Blackstrap rum
1/4 oz Creme de Cassis
Served layered, but instruct your guest to stir before drinking.
