Chief Kopi Kopi

I'm out at the hockey game tonight drinking a stadium beer instead of this Lapu Lapu inspired cocktail named after one of my favorite current Los Angeles Kings players, Anze Kopitar. I created this cocktail leading up the 2012 Stanley Cup playoffs when the Kings won their first Stanley Cup. Because of superstition and because the Kings won the first playoff game that year when I was sipping one of these, I ended up sipping a lot of these for ~2 months. You can find the recipe in episode 48 of this here show. The Lil' Waha Nui mug was designed by Joe Vitale and produced by Tiki Farm.

The Rum Drum

The Rum Drum was my cocktail entry in the 2012 "Taboo" event crawl in Palm Springs. It was a fun one-off fall event, a precursor to what is now Mod Palm Springs. This very potent potable took first place in the cocktail competition, no doubt by knocking out the judges. Marquesan Drum mug from Trader Vic's, late 2016.

Puka Punch

Not a lot of cocktail recipes have "escaped" the Tiki-Ti. The Puka Punch is one of them, found in Beachbum Berry Remixed. It's a well-balanced tiki drink, and the perfect thing to toast to Ray Buhen on a Wednesday night when you can't be at the Tiki (were you at the Tiki, you would of course raise a Ray's Mistake). The Ray's Mistake mug was designed by Thor and produced by Tiki Farm for the Tiki-Ti.
